JOB DESCRIPTION

THIS IS A 2-YEARS RENEWABLE / CONVERTIBLE CONTRACT ROLE.

The Senior Executive/Executive, Marketing Communication, is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing communication initiatives, with a focus on digital marketing and social media. This role works closely with the Assistant Director to develop and implement marketing campaigns, manage owned marketing platforms, create engaging content for social media channels, boost relations with media and influencers, and track the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

The candidate will be a key member of the Marketing Communication team of Defence Collective Singapore (DCS); acting as a brand custodian for Singapore Discovery Centre, Singapore Navy Museum, Singapore Air Force Museum, and upcoming brands under the DCS umbrella.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive the Marketing Communication function to meet organizational goals and desired outcomes.
  2. Manage the entire suite of Marketing Communication activities, including digital marketing, social media content development, media relations, marketing & publicity, advertising & promotions, and events.
  3. Act as brand custodian for brands under the DCS umbrella: Singapore Discovery Centre, Singapore Navy Museum, and Singapore Air Force Museum.
  4. Develop and execute marketing communication strategies for digital channels including social media, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO).
  5. Manage social media channels, including content creation, follower engagement, and analytics monitoring.
  6. Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing and social media.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in marketing communication, focusing on digital marketing and social media.
  3. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the Executive position.
  4. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and platforms.
  5. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  7. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  8. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  9. Great attention to detail and a flair for aesthetics.
  10. Strong marketing acumen, result-oriented, and passionate about creating social media content.
