MS First Capital Insurance Limited is seeking professionals to support its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function. This role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, enhancing risk management processes, and supporting internal stakeholders. Candidates are expected to have a degree in Accounting or Finance, with significant experience in ERM, ideally within the non-life re/insurance sector.

Responsibilities
Support the implementation of MAS Guidelines on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations and standards
Help ensure compliance with all PRGs relevant to the ERM function
Assist in the timely filing and accuracy of regulatory returns, as well as responding to regulator queries, consultations, and surveys
Provide support in delivering ERM services to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements
Drive continuous improvements in ERM processes to enhance departmental efficiency
Conduct assessments, due diligence, and reviews of outsourcing contracts in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Contribute to the enhancement of system capabilities for risk management
Support the overall management of the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process in accordance with regulations
Assist in maintaining and testing the Business Continuity Plan (BCP), including IT Disaster Recovery protocols
Foster a strong risk-aware culture across the organization through training programs and awareness initiatives
Requirements
Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business related disciplines, with at least 3 years of working experience in the ERM function
Prior ERM experience in non-life re/insurance organisations, and a good understanding of the MAS regulatory environment will be advantageous
Professional certifications such as RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Professional Risk Manager (PRM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) are preferred but not critical
Actual job title will commensurate with the candidate's experience level
Good knowledge of risk management and internal control concepts, leading risk management practices and standards
Ideally has supported the establishment of ERM frameworks and related policies, processes and guidelines
Strong understanding of risk management concepts, operational risk controls, and vendor/outsourcing management practices
Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and collaboration across departments
Experienced in using data analytics tools to support the Company’s ERM strategy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-regulatory environment with evolving risk requirements
