Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking candidates for a role involving trials, testing, and document review in the engineering field. Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Urban/Transport Planning required.
• Understanding of technical documents, drawings, and test reports necessary.
• Relevant experience in AV, technology project development advantageous.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Taking part in trials, testing, regulations, certifications, standards, and acceptance.
• Reviewing technical documents, overseeing testing, and conducting investigations.
• Collaborating with various parties (i.e. end users, testing centres, other internal divisions, external agencies) for the development of testing requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Urban or Transport Planning
• Knowledge in relevant field such as engineering and urban and transportation planning
• Candidates with relevant experience in AV, automobile related field will be an advantage, especially with prior working experience in technology project development
• Able to understand technical documents, including mechanical/electrical drawings, test reports, technical standards, etc.
• Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for details
• Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with different stakeholders and convey technical information clearly
• Interest and basic knowledge in AV, motor vehicle regulations and standards
