WHAT TO EXPECT
Your role is pivotal in ensuring our representatives meet the fit and proper standards under the Representative Notification Framework (RNF). You will handle thorough checks, manage timelines effectively, and prepare essential documents for onboarding and offboarding processes. To be successful in this role, you should be proactive and have strong organisational skills!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Fit & Proper assessment under the Representative Notification Framework (RNF):
- Conducting background checks & fit and proper assessment on each candidate
- Making recommendations on the suitability of each candidate
- Flagging adverse findings and escalating cases for further evaluation
- Liaising with the Compliance Team and various key management stakeholders to facilitate the licensing process and address any issues or concerns that may arise
- Ensuring completeness of documentation for each candidate while liaising with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders on all matters relating to recruitment
- Communicating policies effectively to all relevant stakeholders
- Providing regular statistics & reports to Management and Distribution Channels related to candidates and appointments of representatives
- Conducting periodic declarations and checks on existing financial consultants
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of onboarding and assessment processes.
Be involved in the daily operations of the Distribution Support function such as:
- Representatives’ resignation process
- Reference check requests
- Handling audit requests related to fit and proper assessments
- Regularly reviewing processes to streamline and ensure relevancy
- Any other projects or tasks as assigned.
WHO YOU ARE
- At least 3 years of experience in Distribution Support, particularly in the MAS Representative Notification Framework
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure while remaining agile in a fast-paced environment
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
- Resourceful and a strong team player
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
