About the Role
Working closely with the Assistant Director in the Division of Community Outreach & Philanthropy, you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Gift Management System to ensure data integrity and performance of the donor database.
Some of the Key Responsibilities Include
· Prepare and clean-up data in existing database before export into new Gift Management System (GMS)
· Import additional donor records not in the database into GMS
· Establish formatting standards for database fields and ensure consistency data entries
· Set up report templates and generate ad hoc reports as needed
· Perform data extraction, design report layout and create compelling visuals to support the department’s management reporting needs
· Review data collection sources to design process to streamline and/or automate the donation processing
· Adopt new tools to expand and enable digitalisation and automation to improve the prospecting, donor engagement and stewardship experience
· Support the DivCOP team and stakeholders in managing donation reporting requirements
· Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
· Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements
· Diploma or University Degree or equivalent
· Certification in database administration will be considered an asset
· At least 5 years of database administration and management experience
· Able to handle data preparation and cleaning as well as report generation independently
· Must have advance MS Excel and MS Access skills
· Experience in developing APIs is a bonus
· Organised and meticulous, detailed-oriented
· Analytical mind with good interpersonal communication skills
· Resilient and open to adopting productivity tools
· Able to think creatively and strategically
· Able to navigate a multi-layer organisation structure and work towards objectives in an environment with multiple stakeholders
