As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, you'll contribute directly to safeguarding the organization’s data while ensuring we stay ahead of changing legislation and industry best practices.
What You’ll Do:
In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Implementing and Monitoring Compliance: Assist in the rollout and ongoing tracking of data protection policies, ensuring that the organization is compliant with relevant regulations.
- Stakeholder Partnerships: Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on managing data breaches and incidents, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Risk & Impact Assessments: Conduct assessments to proactively identify and mitigate data protection risks.
- Data Management: Respond to data requests, offering guidance on improving the management and security of sensitive information.
- Auditing & Best Practices: Lead regular data protection audits and collaborate with stakeholders to integrate data protection measures into business operations.
- Training & Awareness: Facilitate training sessions, briefings, and provide ongoing support to build awareness and promote best practices across the organization.
- Handling Queries: Manage internal (staff) and external (public) inquiries with professionalism and expertise.
- Stay Ahead of Legislation: Continuously monitor and update the team on changes in data protection laws and industry standards.
- Administrative Support: Assist with operational tasks and contribute to the smooth functioning of the department.
- Other Responsibilities: Take on special projects and duties as assigned to support continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
- Preferably 2+ years in healthcare or a related industry with exposure to data protection and privacy practices.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with data protection policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
- Comfortable in public speaking, collaborating and engaging with various stakeholders
