About the role

TOUCH Community Services' is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive, Cybersecurity to join our team in the Central Region. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and implementation of our cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring the safety and security of our digital assets.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing robust cybersecurity policies, procedures and controls to mitigate risks and protect the organisation
• Monitoring and analysing cyber threats, vulnerabilities and incidents, and coordinating the response and remediation efforts
• Collaborating with IT and business teams to identify security requirements and integrate security solutions into new projects and systems
• Providing expert cybersecurity advice and guidance to senior management, and leading cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives
• Staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, regulations and best practices, and making recommendations for continuous improvement
• Managing and mentoring a team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure high performance and development

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in a senior cybersecurity role, preferably within the non-profit or public sector
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies and best practices, and a strong technical understanding of security systems and infrastructure
• Proven track record in developing and implementing effective cybersecurity strategies and programmes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify and mitigate security risks
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to engage with both technical and non-technical teams
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to build and lead high-performing cybersecurity teams
