Job Description
The role supports the operation and maintenance of customer and supplier (vendor) master data, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems, in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Operations Execution and Excellence
- Execute end-to-end processing for onboarding, maintenance and retirement of supplier and customer master data to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Process high volume of supplier and customer master data requests in a timely manner in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Respond to queries from requestors and provide guidance to business units where required.
- Work closely with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and ensure smooth operations.
Controls, Compliance and Audit
- Support the documentation, maintenance and updating of user guides, operation manuals, policies and procedures.
- Assist in internal and external audit activities, including preparation of required documentation, follow-up and closure on remediation actions.
- Perform data analysis to detect anomalies.
Projects Support and Implementation
- Support ongoing finance and system-related projects impacting supplier/customer master data.
- Participate in UAT activities and troubleshooting for system implementation and enhancements.
- Support change management as necessary (e.g., user training and communication).
Continuous Improvements
- Identify gaps and provide suggestions and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and data quality.
- Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience in a similar capacity, preferably 3-5 years.
- Strong controls and process improvement mindset.
- Customer service orientation who proactively attends to and solves users’ requests with urgency and drives positive outcomes.
- Possess good analytical and communication skills.
- Meticulous and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in SAP and project implementation is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
