Job Description

Acting as a project manager, your duties will include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for the overall design, installation, testing & commissioning of the solar photovoltaic (PV) systems

  • Possessed good ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring key milestones and requirements are met, and delivered within the project schedule

  • Conduct detailed site survey and produce an optimum solar PV design with maximum energy production andcost-effectiveness

  • Perform technical review on the solar PV drawings and simulated reports, and ensure its compliance with the relevant codes, regulations and standards

  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure project deliveries and compliance

  • Ensure workplace safety is strictly implemented and complied with the local regulations and Keppel's HSE requirements

  • Prepare project reports and conduct project meetings with client and contractors

  • Able to perform multi-tasking as assigned

  • Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical or any other Engineering discipline

  • Knowledge in solar system design and electrical engineering fields

  • Able to communicate effectively & handle resolutionson site matters

  • A self-starter who is able to work independently, take initiative and works well in a team

  • Familiar with Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement and Permit to Work application requirements and procedures

  • Must be able to interactive with variousstakeholders and work independently

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD and other modelling software (like PVsyst and Helioscope)

  • Safety certifications such as Working at Height, bizSAFE Level 2 etc. will be advantageous.
