Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Acting as a project manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for the overall design, installation, testing & commissioning of the solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
  • Possess good ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring key milestones and requirements are met, and delivered within the project schedule
  • Conduct detailed site survey and produce an optimum solar PV design with maximum energy production and cost-effectiveness
  • Perform technical review on the solar PV drawings and simulated reports, ensuring compliance with the relevant codes, regulations, and standards
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure project deliveries and compliance
  • Ensure workplace safety is strictly implemented and complies with local regulations and Keppel's HSE requirements
  • Prepare project reports and conduct project meetings with clients and contractors
  • Able to perform multi-tasking as assigned
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical or any other Engineering discipline
  • Knowledge in solar system design and electrical engineering fields
  • Able to communicate effectively & handle resolutions on site matters
  • A self-starter who is able to work independently, take initiative, and work well in a team
  • Familiar with Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement, and Permit to Work application requirements and procedures
  • Must be able to interact with various stakeholders and work independently
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other modeling software (like PVsyst and Helioscope)
  • Safety certifications such as Working at Height, bizSAFE Level 2 etc. will be advantageous.
