Job description:

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide technical support for ICT courses and capstone projects.
• Maintain, configure, and support lab/project hardware/software to ensure that they are in good working condition.
• Support faculties/ students in troubleshooting issues in physical/virtual lab environments.
• Assist faculties and capstone projects' supervisors in sourcing and evaluation of new equipment/software.
• Liaise with third-party vendors.

Job Requirements

• A University Degree in Computing/Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ICT or its equivalent.
• Preferably with 5 or more years of relevant experience, ideally in IT or higher education environment, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining physical/virtual lab environments.
• Familiar with Cisco, Linux and Open-Source Environment.
• Experience in container technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• CCNA/CCNP preferrable. Additional cloud certifications from AWS, Azure and Google will be advantageous.
• Experience with LMS and educational technology tools is a plus.
• Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
