Job summary

A leading distributor in architecture and interior design is seeking a Project Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure project completion in Singapore. The candidate will manage installer deployment, cultivate customer relationships, and maintain operational workflows. Relevant engineering degree/diploma and 2-5 years in project management are required, along with familiarity with building systems.

Job description

3M Authorised Distributor with more than 30 years of experience in the industry dealing with Architectural & Interior : Wallcoverings and Laminates, Glass & Glazing, Flooring & Anti-Slip, Sun Control & Security Window Film, Water Purification for Commercial & Residential, Large Format Printing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects and jobs are completed on schedule, meeting customer requirements.
  • Oversee daily operations and coordinate installer deployment as needed.
  • Assess job site requirements and manage all aspects of project execution to ensure a smooth completion.
  • Provide guidance and practical solutions to the Sales Team during site assessments.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships, offer technical support, and address product-related inquiries or concerns.
  • Handle installation issues through IRQ management to resolve customer complaints.
  • Continuously review operational workflows and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop training programs to strengthen the capabilities of field operations personnel.
  • Support the maintenance of corporate governance by managing certification renewals, including ISO9001 and BizSafe.
  • Coordinate and oversee M&E maintenance and operations across Company's premises.
  • Schedule maintenance tasks and liaise with contractors and vendors for Company's assets and facilities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations at periodic stakeholder meetings.

Requirement

  • Minimum a Diploma or Degree in an engineering / construction.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in project management and coordinating project sites.
  • Familiar with building systems, including Building Automation Systems (BMS), ACMV, fire protection/fire alarm systems, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
  • With BCSS, Work at Height or other relevant construction-related certifications will be preferred.
  • Detail oriented, analytical, and able to work under tight schedules.
  • Holds a valid Class 3 driving license with personal vehicle.
  • 5-day work week (8am to 5pm).

The successful candidate will undergo basic installation technique and process training for our core products.
