About Department and Purpose of the Position

This position will support the smooth and efficient functioning of Orthopaedic Surgery department, ensuring

that communication, public relations, media, marketing, and administrative tasks are well-organised and

effectively executed. This role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities, including overseeing marketing

and conceptualise digital content, planning of events and handling of budgets. This position will require to

work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the organisation's presence, streamline

operations, and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and maintain calendar of events of Orthopaedic and Hand Departments.
  • Conceptualise and execution of Orthopaedic and Hand departments’ events and outreach activities.
  • Develop and promote marketing strategies, patient education materials relevant to Orthopaedic and Hand departments.
  • Develop content for EDMs, posters, departments’ digital panels and social media post.
  • Plan and build awareness of department services on various digital media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Review and update content on departments’ websites. Improve navigation of information. Engage clinicians with write-ups.
  • Conceptualize content creation to use for clinic digital display such as create visually appealing content / video/ reels that can deliver
  • Assess SEO trending and effectiveness, refine strategies and address gaps to improve visibility.
  • Support in drafting memos, briefs or invitation for departments’ events.
  • Perform any other duties or ad-hoc projects as assigned by Reporting Officer.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft suite and some knowledge on design software.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
