Are you passionate about enhancing patient care and safety in a healthcare setting? We are seeking a dedicated Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager to join our Office of Patient Safety & Quality (OPSQ).

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Senior/Manager and assist in the planning and implementing of strategic initiatives to improve clinical governance and quality, patient care and safety for the hospital by supporting the various teams within OPSQ.

You will contribute to fostering a culture of clinical quality and safety within our organisation through communication, education and training activities. You will also manage the Incident Reporting System, ensuring thorough follow-up on incidents in their investigations and corrective actions by relevant parties.

You will support the Senior/Manager, OPSQ in reporting data for the various scorecards, collaborating with respective clinical services to track clinical performance indicators. Your participation in Quality Improvement (QI) activities will be instrumental in improving departmental processes and elevating the overall quality of care provided by our hospital. Additionally, you will assist in the implementation of the Ministry of Health (MOH) National Standards of Healthcare (NSHC) and the Public Hospital Scorecard.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biomedical Science, Biological Science, Applied Science, or any other healthcare-related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Experience in a healthcare environment will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with quality improvement, process enhancement, data analytics, clinical audits, or patient safety will be an advantage
  • Good writing abilities, meticulous and good organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and oversee junior clerical staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with SPSS or SAS will be an advantage
