Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - NUWoC, Community Family & Child Health (2-years Contract)

Job Purpose:

The job holder is responsible for supporting the strategy and implementation operations for the National University Centre for Women & Children (NUWoC) Division of Community Family and Child Health (CFCH), to improve family and child health for the western (NUHS) cluster in Singapore.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Be part of a team that supports the development of family and child health strategy for the western cluster, in collaboration with Ministries (e.g. Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social and Family Development), internal (e.g. Regional Health Service Office) and external stakeholders (e.g., community care partners and related agencies) - this includes identifying areas of unserved and/or unmet needs and initiatives to address needs and opportunities (e.g., Grow Well SG).
  2. Programme development: work with stakeholders to develop effective interventions or quality improvements to improve family and child health in the western cluster on assigned programmes (e.g., Multi-Disciplinary Team Support for KidStart Programme (MDT KidStart) under NUWoC).
  3. Programme operations and administration: drive effective and sustainable programme operations and administration (e.g., secretariat support, funding administration, recruitment, setup of workflows etc.) at programmatic level.
  4. Evaluation and continuous improvement: develop timely and effective evaluation efforts.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Cross coverage for NUWoC Community Operations team.
  2. Support for NUWoC and NUH related events.
  3. Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in business and healthcare related disciplines, e.g., public health.
  2. At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in a healthcare setting and/or experience in sector development, programme management.
  3. Meticulous and eye for details, in driving programme and operational excellence.
  4. Strong interpersonal, communications and change management skills (e.g., for stakeholder and staff engagement).
  5. Ability to work both independently (day to day operations) and as a team (development and care integration).
  6. Excellent IT skills in areas such as Microsoft Office applications, databases (Tableau).
