The Person:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or an equivalent field
  • At least 5 years of experience in equipment rental, fleet management, or a similar B2B sales environment
  • Proven ability to drive business growth and meet sales targets
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment and rental lifecycle management is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • This is an individual contributor role and non-commissioned based position.
The Job:
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand market share and increase profitability in the rental business
  • Plan and execute sales initiatives, including competitive pricing models, to achieve revenue targets
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing customers through consultative, solution-based selling
  • Monitor equipment utilization, lease expirations, and renewal cycles to ensure high uptime and asset performance
  • Collaborate with service, logistics, and sales teams to create customised rental packages including maintenance and after-sales support
  • Build and maintain relationships within the industry to encourage repeat business and generate referrals
  • Prepare and present monthly sales reports, analysing performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends for senior management
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of sales transactions and customer payments
