Key Responsibilities
- To work with relevant BU/HOD/stakeholders in achieving a safe workplace environment for all employees & in-house contractors.
- To attend/conduct safety related Meetings (i.e. WSH Committee Meeting) to address safety matter and to follow-up with closure.
- To work with relevant BU/HOD/stakeholders to identify and eliminate any potential hazards/risks that may result in human injury and/or property damage.
- To conduct/support in all external/internal audits and follow-up on all CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).
- To lead/participate in Safety Improvement Programs.
- To be familiar with WSH Act, Fire Safety Act, and ISO 45001 so as to ensure compliance to these requirements, including Statutory Equipment & Licenses.
- To maintain and upkeep all safety document (i.e. Risk Assessments, Training Records, etc.).
- To monitor all KPIs and ensure timely submission of Reports.
- To advise/render support to relevant BU/HOD/stakeholders for all safety matters.
- To work with relevant BU/HOD/stakeholders/Government to ensure compliance of Fire Safety Act of all fire protective equipment.
- To represent organization in liaising with external stakeholders/Government.
- To assist/support in all safety related matter.
Key Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Health and Safety, Ergonomics or Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing WSH, Fire Safety & ISO requirement.
- Experience in food processing/packaging environment.
- Experience in incident investigation
- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (with MOM).
- Registered Fire Safety Manager (with SCDF).
- Well organised in work and having a systematic approach in problem solving.
- Having an open and objective mindset when addressing issues and/or offering solutions.
- Ability to prioritise work well and having good decisions making skills in a fact paced environment.
- Good presentation skills, both orally and in writing.
