Job Purpose
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to manage and oversee the daily operations of assigned clinical services. This role will involve achieving key outcomes in customer service, volume and financial targets, process improvement, and staff development. You will work closely with clinical heads and staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations, contributing to the overall success of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
Manage daily operations of assigned service points, including front counter services and administrative matters.
Work with Clinic/Nurse Manager and doctors to resolve system and process issues.
Review and improve departmental processes to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
Assist with the annual budget cycle by recommending CAPEX and OPEX requirements and tracking budget utilisation.
Participate in procurement activities, including product evaluation and vendor selection, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality outcomes.
Support infrastructure and building improvement projects, ensuring smooth operations during project phases and compliance with standards.
Customer Service
Achieve customer satisfaction targets through collaboration with the Reporting Officer.
Devise and implement strategies to continually improve service levels.
Business Management
Meet volume and financial targets for assigned clinical services.
Develop and execute business plans alongside clinical heads to achieve departmental goals.
Lead financial budgeting and regular performance reviews.
Staff Management
Manage non-nursing staff, in collaboration with Clinic/Nurse Manager, including recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.
Ensure staff receive appropriate orientation and training for their roles.
Foster a stable, skilled, and motivated team.
Other Duties
Facilitate communication between staff and leadership, ensuring timely information dissemination and resolution of issues.
Perform other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
Basic degree from a recognised institution.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong analytical, coordination, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
Personal Traits:
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
Able to multi-task, work independently, and work in a team.
Service-oriented and customer-focused.
Experience in healthcare is a plus.
