Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and issue agreed schedules to both internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Forecast mid-term schedules for operating and non-operating vessels using internal systems.
  • Ensure safe vessel operations and assist in bunker savings.
  • Communicate effectively with vessel masters, agents, and other parties to ensure smooth operations.
  • Arrange bunker at the most cost-effective port in coordination with the bunker management team.
  • Arrange vessel repairs, minimizing cost and delays.
  • Monitor port situations and adjust schedules to account for berth congestion.
  • Handle all arrangements for new delivery and re-delivery vessels according to the checklist.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Transportation and Logistics.
  • 3-5 years of working experience, preferably with relevant Liner Shipping Operations.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with various stakeholders.
  • A Class 3 competency certificate is advantageous.
