Job summary

Woodlands Health invites a qualified Accountant to join its FP&A team in Singapore. You will support month-end closings, analyze Subvention funding, and partner with Group Finance to refine capitation methodologies.

You will assist with budgeting and forecasting, participate in audits, and help implement system enhancements to meet regulatory and organisational needs. The role requires strong communication and independent problem solving.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with Degree in Accountancy or equivalent (ACCA/CIMA).
• Minimum of 2 years' FP&A or similar experience.
• Strong organisational skills and deadline-driven.
• Self-motivated with commitment to continuous learning.
• MS Office proficiency; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end financial closing and prepare detailed financial analysis, particularly in relation to Subvention and other funding components.
• Partner with Group Finance to ensure accuracy of capitation funding methodologies, computations, and underlying assumptions aligned with hospital operational needs.
• Contribute to the annual budget cycle and support routine forecasting to ensure financial plans remain responsive and realistic.
• Participate in system enhancements and implementation projects to meet evolving statutory, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
• Support internal and external audit activities by coordinating information requests, addressing audit queries, and preparing required documentation.
• Prepare and track submissions to funding agencies, including disbursements and reimbursements from MOH and other relevant bodies.
• Assist in compiling, reviewing, and preparing audit artefacts and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness.
• Undertake ad hoc financial analyses, projects, and assignments as delegated by the Reporting Officer.

Job Requirements

• Qualified Accountant with a Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar financial or FP&A role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a strong interest in continuous learning and professional development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Able to work independently and proactively resolve issues within established guidelines.
