A leading educational institution is looking for an individual to manage student and non-student receivables. This 11-month contract role involves ensuring timely collections, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance division's operations. We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for managing student and non-student receivables, ensuring timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial operations of the university. This position is on a 11-months contract.
Key Responsibilities
Main Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collections in IN4SIT (student records) and SAP
Post and reconcile incoming payments received from various payment modes
Generation of Tax-Deductible Receipts for donors
Prepare GIRO deduction files for each academic trimester
Respond to student and stakeholder inquiries regarding account balances or tuition fees matters
Involve in process improvement/digitalization projects and automation of task
Ensure compliance with institutional, regulatory, and financial audit requirements.
Generate regular aging reports and assist in monthly and annual financial closing.
Assist with ad-hoc Student Finance duties as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the smooth operations of the Finance division
Job Requirements
A diploma or higher qualification is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience, particularly in accounts receivable or general accounting
Proficient in SAP application and MS Office applications
Highly organised and detailed-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
Pro-active and diligent in follow-ups to ensure all matters are resolved efficiently
Self-motivated and able to work independently
