Job description

Overview:

The job holder is responsible for driving growth and enhancing the patient experience for the Child Development Unit (CDU), by building strong connections with community organisations and government agencies. The job holder will also support the strategy and implementation operations for new programmes / initiatives under the Child Development Programme (CDP).

Job Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

  • (50%) Being part of a team that supports the development and implementation of partnership and outreach strategies for the CDU - this includes identifying potential areas of growth and crafting initiatives aimed at enhancing referral networks.

  1. Lead and support the planning of outreach events in collaboration with community partners and healthcarer providers (e.g. polyclinics, CHAS GPs, private/hospital paediatricians, and preschools).

  2. Work closely with the National University Centre for Women and Children (NUWoC) publicity team to develop marketing collaterals to support clinic and community outreach needs (e.g. content creation, design and clearance of posters and brochures).

  • (30%) CDP Programme development and operations: Work with Ministries (e.g. Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social and Family Development), internal (e.g. Specialist Outpatient Clinics) and exterrnal stakeholders (e.g. community care partners and related agencies) to develop new programme(s) under the CDP to improve the health of pre-school children (0-6 years old) that present with developmental and behavioral problems.

  • Drive effective and sustainable programme operations and administration (e.g. secretariat support, funding administration, recruitment, setup of workflows etc) at programmatic level.

  • (20%) Continuous improvement: Drive process-related improvements to aid growth for the CDU (e.g. analyze patients' feedback to develop timely and effective strategies to improve service delivery and overall patient experience).

Secondary Duties:

  • Cross coverage for the CDU Operations team.

  • Support for NUHS / NUWoC related events.

  • Any otherr duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business and healthcare related disciplines.

  • At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in a healthcare setting and/or experience in partnerships, quality improvement and programme management.

  • Meticulous and eye for details, in driving programme and operational excellence.

  • Strong interpersonal, communications and change management skills (e.g. for stakeholder and staff engagement).

  • Ability to work both independently (day to day operations) and as a team (developmental and care integration).

  • Excellent IT skills in areas such as MS Office applications and design tools (Canva).
