Job summary

A global supplier of specialty gases seeks an experienced business development professional to enhance relationships with suppliers and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a background in the industrial gas industry, proven sales achievements, and strong communication skills. This role is based in Singapore and focuses on supporting product launches and identifying new applications in semiconductor processes.

What you'll be doing

Build Relationships that Matter

  • Connect with global suppliers and manufacturers of specialty gases & chemicals.
  • Review supply agreements, pricing, and contracts to ensure competitiveness and reliability.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements.

Drive Products Forward

  • Support new product launches, fab qualifications, and technical documentation.
  • Keep a pulse on market trends, competitor moves, and customer needs.
  • Provide technical and commercial info (data sheets, SDS, certificates) to teams and sales.

Fuel Business Growth

  • Spot new applications for specialty gases in semiconductor processes (etching, deposition, lithography, CMP, and more).
  • Join customer meetings, audits, and qualification projects.
  • Create impactful presentations and reports for sales and management.

Champion Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all products meet semiconductor industry standards (ISO, local regulations).
  • Collaborate with QA/QC on product handling, storage, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate supplier certifications and regulatory records.
What we're looking for
  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the Sales industry
  2. Demonstrable track record of successfully generating new business and achieving sales targets
  3. Project sales background for Industrial Gas / Specialty gas industry.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  7. Collaborative team player with a results-oriented mindset
  8. Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or a related field is desirable
