A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Communication Officer for a 2-year contract to enhance media relations and communication efforts. The role involves developing communication materials, managing media queries, and working with stakeholders to ensure effective messaging and branding initiatives. Job Summary
The jobholder (2 year contract) supports the organisation in a range of communication activities such as media relations, event staffing, marketing and projects. The jobholder must be comfortable in providing communication consult, lead media relations, and publicity efforts for events. The jobholder must ensure consistent messaging and communication of MENDAKI’s image and position to internal and external stakeholders. This includes crafting communication materials, pitching human-interest stories and profiles as well as to facilitate media queries. The jobholder is also required to manage interview requests and provide staffing for spokesperson(s) including but not limited to political office holders, members of parliament, MENDAKI leadership team, beneficiaries, volunteers and participants.
