Job description

Overview:


The job holder is responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support for the Department of Paediatrics.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive secretarial support to Clinical HOD, including organising and scheduling department meetings (e.g., Operations and Administrative meetings).
  • Manage claims and billings efficiently, ensuring timely disbursements while adhering to policies and avoiding administrative delays, audit issues or complains.
  • Coordinate IT and office asset management, overseeing maintenance, repairs, tech updates. Serve as a primary point of contact between users and IT support teams for access-related issues.
  • Handle human resource-related tasks including managing the onboarding process for new employees, encompassing paperwork and orientation. Overseeing the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring of the return of company property and facilitating the handover of IT assets to IT department.

Secondary Responsibilities:


  • Cross coverage for the management of medical report requests and Gen Paeds and Sub Spec roster when key person is away.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
