Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding (Singapore) PTE. LTD. invites applications for an on-site role focused on freight planning and operations.

The incumbent will assist in day-to-day freight planning, respond to internal and overseas office inquiries, secure airline space for daily bookings and ensure export documentation is complete. Ideal candidates hold a diploma or degree with 4–6 years of experience in air freight, can manage multiple priorities, work independently and in a team, and build strong carrier

• Broad understanding of the Air Freight business.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively, independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the freight planning on the day to day tasks.
• Answer to internal and overseas offices enquiries.
• Secure airline space for daily bookings.
• Ensure that all BUPs are fully optimize and maximize.
• Proactively anticipate commercial demand for uplift capacity.
• Monitor for timely update of the airline final load.
• Ensure that complete documents are accompanied for export processing.
• Handle queries and complain from Internal and External customer.
• Maintain and foster good working relationship with carrier.
• Undertake tasks and responsibilities assigned by the company as and when deemed appropriate.

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
