Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) https://www.ntu.edu.sg/eee is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. It is one of the largest EEE schools in the world, with more than 120 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 5,000, of which about 2,000 are graduate students.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Senior Executive.

Job Description

As a Senior Executive, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence across various administrative functions in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. This position is based at NTU’s main campus and is part of the school’s central administrative team supporting faculty members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end administrative support to faculty in areas such as procurement, claims, travel arrangements, and document submissions

  • Coordinate academic processes, including exam administration, mark entry, and general support.

  • Assist in research administration, including budget tracking, preparation of supporting documents for proposals, and coordination of submissions.

  • Organise and support school-level meetings, events, seminars, and academic visits, including logistics, funding arrangements, and documentation

  • Support digitalisation initiatives and contribute to streamlining workflows and improving service delivery

  • Maintain up-to-date records and assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and internal communication materials

  • Provide secretariat support for committees and meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking

  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of administrative processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Relevant administrative experience in a tertiary education or research environment is preferred

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.

  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders and handling diverse administrative functions is essential.

  • Previous experience in data analytics or statistical analysis is advantageous.

  • Experience or IT skillsets to support automation and modernisation of administrative systems (preferred)

  • Experience in budget management, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement within an academic setting.
