Responsibilities:
Handle payroll processing for employees, including overtime pay, claims, incentives, allowances, and other approved payments.
Verify salary calculations to ensure accuracy in salary disbursements.
Record payroll transactions in the SAP system.
Prepare salary reconciliation reports.
Generate monthly payroll reports, such as Overtime Report, Man-hours Report, Payroll Cost Report, and Headcount Reports, for department heads.
Manage CPF submissions, IR8A, IR21, and other government-related tax filings for employees.
Collaborate with the Finance Department on monthly and quarterly payroll closures.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors or tax consultants on payroll-related matters.
Process government-related claims, including NS Reservist, Maternity Leave, and Child Care Leave claims.
Support employee data creation and system updates in SAP or the Employee Self-Service System.
Provide payroll-related data for internal and external reporting, such as management reports or MOM surveys.
Assess and implement process enhancements in payroll operations.
Address employee queries and concerns regarding payroll matters promptly.
Conduct system UAT testing for SAP when required.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource or equivalent.
3 years of experience in payroll function.
Proficiency in SAP is an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
