Responsibilities:
- System Testing & Operational Support:
Work closely with the Operations team to configure and test the exchange platform end-to-end. This includes developing and maintaining test scenarios, test cases, checklists, and process flows to ensure operational soundness, regulatory compliance, and system stability. - Market Monitoring & Surveillance:
Continuously monitor exchange prices and spreads to ensure alignment with global market benchmarks. Investigate price discrepancies, identify root causes, and escalate as necessary. - Treasury & Liquidity Management:
Oversee daily treasury operations, including managing internal fund flows, ensuring adequate liquidity across instruments, and supporting reconciliation processes. - Performance & OKR Reporting:
Prepare weekly OKR and performance reports by analyzing key operational metrics. Provide actionable insights to management to support decision-making and improve efficiency. - Partner Onboarding & Management:
Manage onboarding processes for external partners, including conducting due diligence, coordinating system integration, and maintaining ongoing operational relationships. - Data Analysis & Insights Generation:
Use tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to extract and analyze large datasets. Generate insights on user behavior, trading patterns, operational bottlenecks, and system performance to drive continuous improvement. - Market Research & Competitor Benchmarking:
Conduct regular research on industry trends, pricing models, operational best practices, and competitor offerings. Provide recommendations to enhance the company’s product positioning, pricing structure, and operational strategies. - Process Improvement & Automation:
Identify areas of inefficiency through data analysis and propose scalable solutions, including automation and workflow optimization to enhance operational effectiveness. - Issue Troubleshooting & Resolution:
Proactively resolve live trading and post-trade operational issues, working with relevant teams to ensure timely root cause identification and resolution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong experience in financial services, preferably in trading operations, treasury, or exchange support functions.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in data extraction, manipulation, and interpretation using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
- Experience in market research or competitor analysis is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments, exchange workflows, and back-office processes.
- Familiarity with MAS regulations and operational risk controls in a regulated financial environment.
- Comfortable working across teams (e.g., Compliance, Product, Engineering) to coordinate operations and implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with automation tools and reporting dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
