Support Head of Events with conceptualisation, planning, logistics and execution of all events. Events include but not limited to physical, virtual or hybrid events, including internal staff events and regular club programs.
Support Head of Events to develop the department in its entirety.
Manage and lead junior staff in terms of training and development.
Support Head of Events to work with Human Resource department and develop training programmes for junior staff.
Support Head of Events to develop, implement and improve department Standard Operating Procedures, processes and policies.
Support Head of Events to manage events administration and department operational costs.
To plan yearly events calendar and forecast budget for financial year.
Support Head of Events to develop and manage price points for different categories of events.
Drive sales for club events and private dining experiences.
Support Head of Events to manage Key Performance Indicators as set out by The Executive Committee.
To operationally run all events in our private events spaces (set up, service, tear down).
To manage each event and ensure each event has the required staff/correct staffing levels.
Work closely with relevant internal departments to organise the different formats of events, to ensure we meet member expectations and ticket sales targets.
Organise and manage the required stock for the event spaces (tables, furniture, linen, crockery, cutlery, IT equipment, glassware).
To deliver each event impeccably, meeting all event expectations.
To actively provide feedback from all events to ensure all events are delivered to the required standard.
To build and cement the relationships with the existing members and expand the club offering and relationships beyond the physical premises.
To lead by example with regards to service standards as required in a luxury brand environment.
To ensure a truly warm and welcoming experience for all members and visitors dining in the club.
To ensure that guest expectations are exceeded at all times in all areas of lounge, dining and events service delivery.
To develop wine knowledge (e.g. via in-house WSET training).
To develop an outstanding knowledge of all food, wines, cooking techniques and allergy requirements, to ensure guests can be advised appropriately at all times.
To develop an outstanding knowledge of restaurant service styles.
To perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
To assist in planning and coordinating menus with the chef and sommelier team for events.
Responding to enquiry, managing member feedback and complaints.
Meet and greet guests, organising table reservations for events.
To develop knowledge and advise guests on menu and wine choice for events.
