Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree holder required.
• At least 5 years' experience in managing events (gala dinners, sports events, conferences).
• Proven project management skills and resourcefulness.
• Experience in organising fundraising events is advantageous.
• Strong writing, speaking and presentation skills in English and fluency in a second language.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, plan and organise all events, including fundraising, community engagement, workshops/conferences, open houses, volunteer appreciation and training.
• Duties include managing tenders for events, developing timelines, programmes, sourcing venues, vendors, sponsors, performances, managing event budgets, on-site operations and communications with stakeholders.
• For events outsourced to EO, evaluate proposals and ensure they meet the brief.
• Guide events team in managing and executing all events.
• Manage and achieve fundraising targets for events.
