A leading club in Singapore seeks a Senior Events & Catering Sales Manager to drive sales performance and lead a high-performing team. The role focuses on developing strategies for private events and corporate functions while ensuring exceptional service delivery and building client loyalty. The Senior Events & Catering Sales Manager is a results-driven leader responsible for driving sales performance, growing repeat business, and achieving the financial goals of the Club Events division. As the head of the section, the Senior Manager will lead a high-performing team, foster a culture of excellence, and ensure the delivery of exceptional service that reinforces the Club’s reputation and drives client loyalty.
• Lead the development and execution of a robust sales strategy aimed at exceeding revenue targets from private events, corporate functions, and social gatherings.
• Drive proactive lead generation, prospecting, and conversion activities to build a strong sales pipeline.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow repeat business and long-term client partnerships.
• Represent the Club in high-level client meetings and negotiations, securing high-value bookings and partnerships.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design and promote compelling event packages that align with target audiences and business goals.
• Continuously analyse market trends and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies and stay ahead in the marketplace.
• Lead, motivate, and coach the Events & Catering Sales team to achieve individual and team KPIs.
• Set and uphold high standards of professionalism, grooming, and conduct across the team, ensuring they consistently present themselves in professional business attire.
• Implement ongoing training, development, and performance evaluation to build team capability and engagement.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture centred on accountability, client service excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage annual revenue targets, sales forecasts, and divisional financial goals in collaboration with senior management.
• Track and analyse sales performance and event profitability, taking corrective actions where necessary to meet business objectives.
• Deliver regular reports on sales outcomes, client trends, and strategic insights to guide senior leadership decisions.
• Serve as the primary contact for key members, clients, and event sponsors, ensuring a premium experience from inquiry to event execution.
• Resolve escalated client issues with professionalism and efficiency, safeguarding client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners and vendors to support business growth.
