Job summary

Ambition Group Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior EV Technician to diagnose, service and repair electric vehicles in line with manufacturer standards. You will work in our EV workshop, performing high‑voltage isolation, safety procedures and fault diagnosis.

With a Diploma and at least 5 years of relevant experience, you will mentor technicians, support workshop capabilities, drive safety upgrades, and maintain detailed service records for customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Able to start immediately or within short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, servicing and repairs on EVs per manufacturer standards and workshop procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot high-voltage (HV) systems, battery packs, electric motors, inverters, charging systems and other EV components.
• Carry out high-voltage isolation, de-energization and safety procedures, ensuring all work complies with EV safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct detailed fault diagnosis using appropriate EV diagnostic tools and equipment, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to workshop technicians on complex EV repairs, troubleshooting and safety procedures.
• Identify opportunities for workshop process improvements to enhance repair quality, efficiency and safety.
• Explain technical findings, repair requirements and recommended maintenance to customers when required.
• Maintain accurate service, diagnostic and repair records in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements.
