Rio Tinto Singapore Holdings Pte Ltd seeks a Principal Adviser Ethics and Compliance Asia based in Singapore to provide senior advisory support across the company’s Commercial operations. The role focuses on complex risk, control effectiveness and capability building across Asia functions, including Procurement, HR, Finance and Group Services India.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Ethics and Compliance Asia, you will work with business leaders to identify and manage integrity risks, implement

Qualifications

• Five years practical experience in Ethics & Compliance within a complex organisation.
• Experience in anti-bribery, third-party risk, conflicts, sanctions and speak-up processes.
• Ability to assess control design and operating effectiveness.
• Strong stakeholder management and written communication.
• Ability to work independently across multiple priorities and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, practical Ethics & Compliance advice to Asia leaders.
• Identify risks, implement group requirements and strengthen controls.
• Conduct risk-based second line monitoring and assurance across priority risks and locations.
• Lead investigations and incident response when local knowledge is required.
• Develop targeted guidance, briefings and learning to strengthen business capability.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk & Insurance, Group Internal Audit, People, Group Services and Commercial teams.
