Job summary

Skyworks in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Technician to support manufacturing of high-performance analog semiconductors. The role demands hands-on expertise with process equipment, strong problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate across teams to maintain equipment uptime.

You will evaluate, install, upgrade and service manufacturing tools, coordinate with vendors, and help implement preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

Diploma with minimum 3 years relevant experience or bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/mechanical engineering.
3–6 years of Disco/Wet Benches equipment experience.
Experience with laser equipment and wafer fab equipment is a plus.
Overtime work and cleanroom environment experience may be required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and team player.
Candidates without experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

Evaluates, selects, and justifies equipment for manufacturing.
Oversees installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Liaise with vendors to resolve equipment issues and manage performance to meet KPI targets.
Establishes projects and solutions to increase uptime, throughput, and cost savings.
Review Process SPC data, setup equipment FDC and machine control.
Experienced in Fabguard application; improve and meet equipment FDC OOC rate.
Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams.
Defines and writes preventative maintenance procedures and schedules; train shift members.
Able to perform hardware troubleshooting and share lessons learned with the team.
