Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd is seeking an Equipment Engineer to focus on CMP/CVD/PVD tool performance, maintenance, and uptime in a 12" fab environment in Singapore. The ideal candidate will diagnose failures, implement effective solutions, and collaborate with suppliers to optimize tool reliability and productivity.

Applicants should hold a STEM degree and have at least 3 years of experience in a similar equipment engineering role, preferably in a 12" wafer

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related STEM field.

Responsibilities

Maintain equipment performance in a cleanroom environment for quality production.
Handle on-duty tasks and alarm troubleshooting; identify root cause and solve critical equipment issues with urgency.
Install and qualify new tool sets on schedule to increase capacity promptly.
Continually improve tool uptime availability, drive defect reduction and enhance hardware capability.
Develop defense and monitoring systems to prevent equipment failure or performance loss.
Analyze complex data sets to derive actionable insights to optimize equipment parameters and controls.
Collaborate with equipment suppliers and partners to identify deficiencies; develop and validate corrective and preventive solutions.
