Intro:
An established player in the electronics and semiconductor manufacturing industry is seeking a proactive and experienced Production / Equipment Engineer to enhance their engineering capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving machine reliability, optimizing maintenance processes, and supporting production operations.
Develop and oversee maintenance schedules and plans to ensure optimal performance of production equipment.
Forecast equipment needs based on business demands, identify potential bottlenecks, and lead upgrade or improvement initiatives.
Establish and execute preventive maintenance routines to maximize uptime, yield, and operational efficiency.
Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repairs on machinery and tools to ensure minimal downtime and smooth production flow.
Address unexpected equipment failures or disruptions quickly to support uninterrupted manufacturing.
Assist in commissioning and integrating new equipment into existing production lines.
Spearhead projects involving equipment modifications, system upgrades, and reliability enhancements.
Support daily production activities by ensuring equipment meets performance and output requirements.
Conduct technology benchmarking to explore potential advancements in manufacturing tools and systems.
Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and operational processes.
Participate in internal and external audit preparations related to equipment and engineering practices.
Contribute to environmental, health, and safety initiatives, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 5 years' experience working with equipment such as Dicing, Die Attach, Wire Bonding, or Molding and Testing machinery.
Familiarity with IC assembly processes is a strong advantage.
Strong technical knowledge of TPM principles and key maintenance metrics such as MTBF and MTTR.
Hands-on approach with solid problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and strong sense of responsibility.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
