A prominent semiconductor company is seeking a qualified professional to manage equipment and enhance productivity in their new Test Cell system. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving preventive maintenance, developing equipment specifications, and leading improvement projects. This is a contract position that offers the opportunity for hands-on problem-solving and technical leadership in a dynamic environment.
In your new role you will:
Be responsible for setting up & driving effective indicators such as OEE, UDT, MTBA, MTBF, FPY, PM Fulfillment, etc.
Have overall responsibility for production readiness of the new Test Cell system, including test hardware & product qualification.
Drive preventive maintenance (PM) systematic & compliance to perform regular PM, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment to ensure safety, high availability, & reliability.
Analyze parts usage & lifespan to ensure optimum machine performance & drive cost-effective PM programs by managing Operating Supply and PM costs within budget.
Drive continuous improvement projects to contribute to overall segment performance in productivity (NLoP) and quality (NLoZD).
Perform data analysis using appropriate statistical tools to analyze & understand trends, deviations, and take corrective actions.
Implement control plans such as APC & Out of Control action plans to monitor and manage deviations.
Strategize & plan machine overhaul & reconditioning based on need and usage.
Develop equipment specifications for BM next-generation or 2nd source equipment/tools.
Develop equipment and tools work instructions & manage training for operators, technicians, and engineers as required.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Min 3 - 5 years of experience in final test equipment in the semiconductor industry.
Experience in Tri-temp IC Test Handler (e.g., Delta Matrix/Advantest M48xx series) is preferred.
Good knowledge in applying problem-solving and analysis tools, e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, QC tools.
Technically sound with a strong desire to build technical competency.
Passionate about problem-solving and hands-on work.
Project management experience and proactive communication skills to provide timely updates to stakeholders.
This is a 1-year contract under a third-party payroll partner and is entitled to benefits according to the partner company.
