Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Application Support Analyst to design, develop, and support enterprise applications in a fast-paced tech environment. You will analyze requirements, develop scalable solutions, manage releases, and provide production support to ensure stability and availability.

The role collaborates with business users, development, and infrastructure teams, coordinating with vendors to deliver high-quality software solutions and maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• Proficient in programming languages listed (Java, Python, Shell Scripting).
• Strong background in application development, support, and system analysis.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and deployment processes.
• Experience with source control and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of API integration, microservices, and enterprise app architecture.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and system requirements into technical specs and solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Perform impact assessments for new developments and enhancements.
• Prepare technical documentation including design specs and deployment guides.
• Ensure unit and system testing, code quality before deployment.
• Provide Level 2/3 production support for multiple environments.
• Investigate issues via code review, logs, DB queries, and diagnostics.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Manage incidents, changes, releases across environments within SLAs.
• Coordinate CRs and ensure change control compliance.
• Support release planning, deployment scheduling and post-deployment verification.
• Collaborate with business, dev, QA, infra, and vendors throughout SDLC.
• Participate in UAT, production validation, and enhancement initiatives.
