The incumbent shall be responsible to:
· Support Registered Nurses (RNs) in the coordination of care of patients
· Assist physicians and RNs in bedside procedures and treatment
· Communicate effectively and maintain collaborative relationship with the multidisciplinary healthcare team members
· Provide patient education to patients, Next of Kin (NOK) and caregivers on self-care management
· Attend to and assist RNs in patient resuscitation or medical emergencies
· Support clinical supervision of new enrolled nurses, support care staff and coaching of nursing students in the delivery of nursing care
· Identify common causes of patient safety incidents and work with the supervisor and senior nurses in carrying out quality improvement activities
· Be a team player and participate in clinical audits as required
Job Requirements
· Candidate must be enrolled with SNB
· NITEC in Nursing or State Enrolled Nurse Certificate
· At least 1 year of experience as Enrolled Nurse in relevant discipline
