Job summary

The National University Health Services Group Pte. Ltd. seeks an Enrolled Nurse to support Registered Nurses in coordinating patient care and assisting physicians during bedside procedures.

You will communicate with the healthcare team, educate patients and caregivers, and assist in emergencies. The role also involves supervising junior staff and participating in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be enrolled with SNB.
• NITEC in Nursing or State Enrolled Nurse Certificate.
• At least 1 year of experience as Enrolled Nurse in relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support Registered Nurses in coordinating patient care.
• Assist physicians and RNs in bedside procedures and treatment.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Provide patient education to patients, Next of Kin (NOK) and caregivers on self-care management.
• Attend to and assist RNs in patient resuscitation or medical emergencies.
• Support clinical supervision of new enrolled nurses, support care staff and coaching of nursing students.
• Identify common causes of patient safety incidents and work with supervisor and senior nurses in quality improvement.
• Be a team player and participate in clinical audits as required.
