Job summary

Wyeth Nutrition in Singapore is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician (Utilities) to support daily operations and maintenance of critical utility systems for manufacturing, ensuring continuous supply and reliable performance.

You will operate boilers, chillers, air compressors, AHUs and water treatment, supervise contractors, document maintenance activities, and uphold GMP, safety and environmental standards in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders with relevant utility operations experience in pharma/food/semiconductor sectors preferred.
• MOM steam boiler certificates are required.
• Electrical licenses are preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations (boiler/chiller/air compressor/AHU/water plant) and routine maintenance on utility systems and facilities.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors/vendors in performing their duties per procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance, repair and services activities per procedure.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of work areas.
• Follow safe working procedures, and wear PPE; report GMP non-conformances promptly.
• Demonstrate commitment to Environmental, Health and Safety standards at the workplace.

Education

Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Marine / Mechatronic / Air Conditioning / Refrigeration or equivalent

MOM 1st or 2nd grade Steam Boiler engineer Certificate

Main Purpose of Job

Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of utility systems and facilities to provide uninterrupted utilities supply and engineering services in supporting the manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations (Boiler/chiller/air compressor/AHU/Water plant), routine planned maintenance and ad‑hoc corrective maintenance on utility systems and facilities.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors/vendors in performing their duties in accordance with procedure.
• Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance, repair and services activities in accordance to procedure.
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas.
• Follow safe working procedures and principles at the workplace, not engaging in any unsafe act that may endanger yourself or others, and using, in proper manner, any personal protective equipment, devices, equipment or other means provided to secure your safety, health and welfare while working.
• Execute all duties faithfully and responsibly in accordance to written procedures and to immediately report all observations of GMP non‑conformances.
• Take ownership in gaining knowledge and demonstrating the expected Environmental protection, Health and Safety attitude and behavior at the workplace.

Requirements

Technical qualifications: Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Marine / Mechantronic / Air Conditioning / Refrigeration or equivalent.

• Preferably relevant working experience in the operation and maintenance of Pharmaceutical / Food / Petrochemical / Wafer / Semiconductor industry.
• MOM 1st or 2nd grade Steam Boiler engineer Certificate is required.
• Electrician Grade License and Electrical Worker Certificate is preferred.
