As a Senior / Engineering Assistant (Mechanical) - Facilities Management, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Support the senior engineer or manager in managing and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

• Supervise the daily activities of Maintenance Agents in relation to the mechanical system.

• Provide support to the engineer or manager in overseeing the performance of outsourced maintenance service providers and specialist vendors, ensuring that high maintenance standards are upheld and scheduled tasks are completed as planned.

• Ensure swift and effective service recovery in the event of equipment or system failures to minimize disruptions to operations.

• Assist the engineer or manager in overseeing and coordinating improvement projects, including the upgrading of systems and equipment components.

• Assist the engineer or manager in executing improvement works for existing facilities, including renovations, retrofitting, replacement of system infrastructure, and enhancement initiatives for specialized systems and facilities.

• Provide expert advice and support to the maintenance team in diagnosing and resolving specialized system failures and troubleshooting issues.

• Prepare technical specifications and drawings for system enhancements, as well as draft cost estimates and work schedules for project execution.

• Supervise the safety practices and work conduct of the outsourced maintenance team, ensuring the implementation of high maintenance standards.

• Ensure timely service restoration for any equipment or system failures to minimize operational disruptions.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
