Job description

- Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm or 8.30am – 6pm
- Yishun
- Up to $6000 + bonus

Responsibilities

• To act as 2nd level regional support to internal and external customers on all aspects of service activities
• To respond to customer or regional service call and attend to problem at customer site when required
• Provide on-site training to customers, or internal customers as a specific technical product champion
• Other technical related activities specific to our SMT Solutions offerings
• To conduct product (hardware/sofware) training for ASMPT customers and internal field service engineers
• To formulate training courses, contents and materials at global level in course development as a project team leader/member. Standardise scope of training and deliver in a professional manner
• To develop and conduct refresher training for trainers and field service engineers
• Continuous improvement and developing new ideas and technology on product training delivery that add value to our customers

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Knowledge in basic project management skills will be advantageous
• Experience in SMT Process and Applications in manufacturing and production environment will be advantageous
• Experience in leading a team is a plus
• Strong analytical mind and problem solving skills, results and quality oriented
• Able to work independently with high level of initiative and willingness to learn
• Able to travel on short notice
• Possess strong team dynamics and able to work in a multicultural environment and with people at all levels. This position will work closely with engineers/departments in other global locations
