Job summary

A leading company in the assembly and testing industry seeks a Project Manager to spearhead Infrastructure and Sustainability Projects. The successful candidate will handle planning, execution, and compliance with relevant energy and water management standards. Qualifications include an Engineering degree and SCEM certification, with a strong grasp of project management and sustainability practices.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Certification as Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) is a must.
  • Experience with ACMV, DI Water, CDA, Vacuum, WWTP is advantageous.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Project management of Infrastructure and Sustainability Projects including planning, design, execution and completion for expansion/ improvement projects and drive sustainability goals

  • Planning, design, and management of expansion/ upgrading/ improvement projects

  • ISO50001 Energy Management System – Systematically optimise energy performance and promote more efficient energy management

  • Resources management (i.e. energy, water, gases, etc) including analysis and submission of sustainability data/ performance as well as Energy Conservation Act (ECA) and Water Efficiency Management Plan (WEMP) submissions to ensure compliance to relevant authorities’ requirements

  • Budget planning/ forecast of projects, audits, resources (i.e. energy, water, gases, etc) to deliver effective and efficient support based on sustainable and collaborative outcomes aligned with UTAC best interests

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders (i.e. Sustainability team, operation, etc) to review and update sustainability roadmap and plans

  • Support to develop AOP and manage expenses according to AOP

  • Provide technical assistance, work with operation team in troubleshooting to restore/ resume the operation back to normal and perform root cause analysis and implement action plans to prevent recurrence

  • Review and evaluate system capacity/ performance/safety to recommend or implement continuous improvement plans

  • Collaborate with operation Team to perform analysis of utilities consumption for early detection of anomalies

  • Review, maintain and update procedures/ specification in Global Documentation Management System

  • Maintain proper records of project progress/correspondences, as-built drawings and other auditable documentations

  • Support audits (i.e. ISO, IATF, RBA, VDA, EAL6, Customers, etc) and ensure its compliance

  • Ensure compliance of authorities’ requirements, legislations, codes of practice, etc

  • Provide guidance to duty staffs and knowledge sharing with fellow colleagues to continue strengthen the operation.

Requirement:

  • Degree in Engineering or related field

  • Preferable 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing industry

  • Computer skills in MS Office

  • ACMV, DI Water, CDA, Vacuum, WWTP, Electrical System experience would be an advantage

  • Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) certification is a must

  • Team player and able to work well in a team setting to achieve goals
