Job summary

People Search Consultants in Singapore is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to manage Windows Server environments, AD/ADFS, DNS/DHCP, Office 365, Linux servers and AWS. You will design and maintain Oracle and MSSQL databases and ensure reliable system performance.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in IT with at least five years of experience, strong vendor certifications are a plus, and willingness to perform after-hours maintenance when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in IT with at least 5 years of relevant experience in system administration and cloud operations.
• Strong knowledge on VMware, Windows AD, DNS, DHCP, Office 365, Oracle and MSSQL database management.
• Professional certifications (AWS SysOps, MCSE, RHCE, ITIL) are advantageous.
• On-call standby for after-hours maintenance if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and administration on Windows Server and cloud environments.
• Design, install, configure and maintain Oracle and MSSQL databases including monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems and software, including system restoration when needed.
• Monitor and respond to system alerts and provide daily technical support by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Ensure and follow IT service delivery processes in line with IT policies.

• Provide technical support and administration on Windows 2012/2016/2019/2022 Server, Microsoft Active Directory/ADFS/DNS/DHCP, Office 365, Red Hat Linux Servers and AWS Cloud Environment.
• Design, install, configure and maintain Oracle and MSSQL database systems including monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting issues.
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools including system and file restoration (if required).
• Monitor and respond to all system alerts and provide daily technical support by troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and other network and system problems.
• Ensure and follow standard IT service delivery processes in accordance with IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering or related fields with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in system administration and cloud operations.
• Strong knowledge on VMWare, Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Office 365 as well as Oracle and MSSQL database management.
• Professional certifications would be an added advantage e.g. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and ITIL Foundation.
• Prepared to be on standby to perform system maintenance activities after office-hours (if required).
