Energy Market Authority (EMA) in Singapore seeks to shape and safeguard the nation's energy infrastructure through careful planning and coordination of major energy projects. The role focuses on forward planning, routing of cables, ducts, pipelines and utility spaces, in partnership with SP PowerGrid and government agencies.

The candidate will engage with ministries and agencies to optimise space, consider co-location options, and explore alternative implementation strategies to support energy

Competenze

• Education in Electrical/Chemical/Civil/Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years' working experience in electricity generation and/or network planning

Mansioni

• Collaborate with Government Agencies and Transmission Licensee on forward planning and implementation of routing for major energy infrastructure projects (electricity cables, tunnels/ducts, gas pipelines, ducts, utility tunnels and related spaces).
• Engage with multiple ministries/agencies and stakeholders to align plans, space optimisation, co-location and alternative implementation strategies.

[What the role is]The Infrastructure Planning Branch (IPB) plays a key role in shaping and safeguarding Singapore's future energy infrastructure to support long-term energy security, economic growth and the energy transition.

[What the role is]The Infrastructure Planning Branch (IPB) plays a key role in shaping and safeguarding Singapore's future energy infrastructure to support long-term energy security, economic growth and the energy transition.

What you will be working on

Responsibilities:

• To work with Government Agencies and Transmission Licensee (SP PowerGrid) on the forward planning and implementation in the routing of gas/electricity services major infrastructure projects; ie electricity cables, tunnels/ducts, Gas pipelines, Underground Service Ducts, Common Service Ducts, Utilities Service Tunnels, etc. This includes conceptual planning studies which comprises budget estimation, optimising/reviewing of utilities requirements, service plans studies (e.g. space optimisation, co-location, alternative implementation strategy). Review utilities requirements, service plans (eg. space optimisation, co-location, alternative implementation strategy).
• Engagement with other Government ministries/agencies (MTI, MND, URA, JTC, HDB, LTA, PUB, IMDA, NEA, NPark, etc) and relevant stakeholders (nature group, welfare organization, etc)

What we are looking for

Requirements:

• Education in Electrical/Chemical/Civil/Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably with 2 years' working experience in electricity

generation and/or network planning, projects implementation, plants/network operations and maintenance
