Job summary

Venture is seeking a Senior Engineer, R&D (Firmware) to design and code firmware modules and contribute to verification and test activities. The role is based at the HQ in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore.

You will lead discussions, participate in design reviews, and support NPI efforts while collaborating with EE/ME teams and customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Masters or higher in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ with strong firmware development background.
• Knowledge of embedded RTOS and graphics libraries such as TouchGFX or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and code firmware modules for a given system.
• Generate and maintain design and test documentation.
• Support software life cycle verification activities.
• Assist EE and ME teams in Engineering Verification Testing.
• Support NPI in meter builds.
• Lead and participate in design reviews and technical discussions.

As a Senior Engineer, R&D (Firmware), you will:

• Design and code firmware modules within a particular system
• Generate and maintain design and test documentation
• Support development and verification of the software design as per the Software Life Cycle process
• To assist the EE and ME teams in various Engineering Verification Testing activities
• To support NPI in the various meter builds
• To lead and participate in various technical discussion, brainstorming session and design reviews
• Interface with customers where applicable
• Lead project discussions and code reviews

Requirements

• Masters/Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Familiar with firmware development tools
• Excellent in C/C++ programming language
• Strong analytical and leadership skills
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Organized, meticulous and a team player who is self-motivated and dynamic
• Working knowledge of embedded RTOS and TouchGFX or equivalent graphics library
