About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer, Quality Control (QC) to join our dynamic team at SATO Global Business Services Pte Ltd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality products (Including firmware, applications and solutions).

What you'll be doing

• Draft and execute test cases to verify and validate a range of in-house products including printer firmware and drivers, web, desktop and mobile applications.
• Analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Prepare comprehensive test and incident reports for each testing cycle.
• Document and file bugs in the incident management system accordingly to standards established by the QC Manager.
• Identify gaps in processes and propose improvements to enhance testing and software development practices.
• Conduct regular review of test cases performed by junior engineers.
• Mentor and train junior quality control personnel to develop their skills and expertise.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software or firmware development.
• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Computer Engineer and equivalent.
• ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of various testing methodologies and techniques, with the ability in effective application in testing tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
