Job summary

Singtel is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Singapore to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. The role emphasizes IaC, automation, and DevSecOps to improve efficiency, security, and resilience.

You will collaborate with development teams to build secure cloud solutions, implement CI/CD with security controls, and document architectures and best practices for ongoing operations. Strong scripting skills and cloud security expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years proven experience with cloud services on AWS/Azure, including architecture design and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with scripting languages for automation tasks (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and risk management.
• Documentation of architecture, standards, and patterns.
• Strong communication, collaboration and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• 3~4 years proven experience with cloud services on AWS/Azure, including architecture design and implementation
• Strong proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for cloud environment
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and risk management
